Why are laugh tracks still a thing? I will laugh if I think something is funny!? >__< Does someone actually like them? If you do, why?

@GeoffDick @MargaretKrohn Oh! Sorry. I don't mind them much myself but shows overall are going back to being more film-like. 24fps etc.
