Classist is a stretch. I’d say most of the middle and upper middle class people I’ve seen have their garages full to the rafters with junk and trash so they have nowhere to keep their cars, and so they fill their driveway and the streets with cars they never drive.

*shrug* Think what you want about what you mean, I'm just telling why those things and that language/phrasing exists. It's the same idea behind the phrase "I want my kids to go to a good school". That meant a school without black kids after de-segregation.
