There was a meme going around last year, about how you're not really a millennial if you don't have at least 2 boxes of electronic cables that you might need at some point so definitely hold on to despite them being from a router you haven't owned in a decade, etc.

I feel like the one universal thing all parents pass down to their kids is that you keep all your extra cables..no real reason just do it.
