Well it does matter otherwise they wouldn't have just developed a vessel to heat water uniformly like a kettle on a microwave

This shows that water heated in a microwave is hotter at the top than the bottom. Not sure it’s relevant.

Water being hot on the top makes for worse tea? How’s that? We have a kettle. We use it daily for tea making. I don’t care if anyone chooses to use a kettle or a microwave because boiling water is literally the same either way.
