US electrical outlets are 110v, so our electric kettles take twice as long to boil. Stovetop is fine but takes even longer. Microwave is the fastest way to heat water, at least for us. But also it doesn’t matter how you boil water.

It really does matter. A kettle brings water to a rolling boil which incorporates a lot of air into the water. I had "tea" made with microwaved water many times in the US and it tastes completely wrong - flat and weird. It makes a huge difference.

All hot water has less dissolved oxygen, not more, regardless of how it is boiled.
