Logical fallacy. The vast majority of games made by 1 or a few people do not achieve any financial success even at low price points. In those cases the pricing was irrelevant. The very small number of games that are a success, you best believe they all wish they charged more.

Nailed it on the head here. (Hi again MW haven’t seen you in a bit!) There are very few games that have the polish, gameplay and all the pieces needed to make a solid game that creates the amount of income and profits to sustain careers and franchise successes. (1/2)

While these tools are cheap, free and games do get made from scratch on top; it’s very comparable to the independent film industry. These films don’t pull numbers like “The Avengers”. It is nearly impossible to have quality polish in every facet of game making.
