Been thinking fondly recently of absurdist comedies I watched weekly in my early teens: Airplane, Top Secret, Kentucky Fried Movie, Blazing Saddles, everything Monty Python, etc. Looking for ones I might’ve missed. Got a favorite?

Go back a little further. Cannonball Run It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World Maybe Smokey and the Bandit? But that may not be quite the style you're after.

We just re-watched IAMMMMW with the kids, and hooooboy. It is very, very long and doesn't really stand the test of time. Some funny moments. But so long. Did I mention it was long?

Holy crap, you're right! 3:30 run time according to IMDB. How did I not remember that?
