Console exclusives also come without that snipe. If something's built for one set of hardware it takes time to make sure it can play on other hardwares unless its got simple design or a huge chunk of time. Danganronpa1 was a buggy mess on PC release because it was a vita game.

I do see the point where it becomes too much but not liking a provider for forcing their services on you by snagging exclusives specifically for the sake of grabbing public attention combined with some of Epics other issues aren't purely innocent.

Also note epic didn’t pay 2k or gearbox to make borderlands 3. They paid them to not sel on steam. PS and XB own the companies making exclusives. 1st party be 3rd party. Imagine only being able to buy rockstar games at GameStop. That’s the difference.

Can you be more specific about why someone paying for exclusivity is such a turnoff for you? As opposed to owning/paying for development of the product.

I have no problem with first party exclusives. If you own a product, please sell it in/on your platform. However depriving any consumer the access to content on any third party game that you do not own, gets under my skin.

Do you feel like it gets under your skin because it’s a business decision as opposed to a product/consumer decision? And is it more or less annoying when a company cuts a feature to hit a release date as a business decision?

Not trying to be coy or anything, just wanting to understand more of the “why” of complaints. I get the platform features stuff.

People shouldn’t be kept away from any content ina 3rd party game. I understand first party exclusives. I understand Ea games only on origins, same with blizzard. But 3rd party content shouldn’t be restricted

No problem. Always enjoy a good discussion. People are different, have different views and talking about them opens others and yourself to new perspectives. It’s vital to personal growth. Hope you have a great week
