Why do you think it's unreasonable for consumers to express disappointment with company? Why do so many developers get angry at the very people that made sure you exist in a first place? Without those "unreasonable" people developers wouldn't be working. Respect that!
Yes. It is unreasonable to review-bomb a game because you don't like a different game.
It's even more unreasonable to review-bomb a game because you don't like another game's (that you haven't played) distribution model
Hey guess what, they can't review bomb the proper game because they decided to release it on a platform where consumer can't even write their opinion....
Or what? customers will express their disappointment in any way they feel is right. It's a free country and they can do what they want.
That's such a weak, cop-out excuse. "It's a free country and they can do what they want." That's something my 4 year old would say.
But it's also true. You are free to publish where you want people are free to show they disprove. I tend to side with people vs corporation s in that kind of arguments.
