I like games with a lot of Depth, but I want the minimum amount of Complexity. More complexity means it’s harder to learn. But games that are easy to learn and *still* have tons of depth?pic.twitter.com/G0koFYvJXu

I think one of my favorite examples is the Path of Exile skill tree. There are no small amount of people that find this more satisfying than, say, the D3 skill system. Lack of complexity was seen by many as “easy” and therefore less valuable to master.pic.twitter.com/Myfm7XCCAm

For many of us that POE skill “tree” is the biggest turn off ever.

yup. for me, it's less experimentation and more "follow a cookie cutter build". if you fuck up an early node, good luck.
