#3 is so true. I've had friends be all "i dont need it I'll get a job in a few weeks", and then end up taking 4+ months to get one. It's your money, you've been paying into it. Now claim it!
As someone who has been unemployed for a little while now: 1. Make the best of severance. Task lists help. 2. But don’t feel bad just enjoying days or weeks or months for you. 3. Don’t wait to apply for unemployment. That’s your money. 4. I love you.
