When I bought my switch in oct I immediately got a cover because I heard about this so I wanted to try and avoid it. I'm curious, how does this happen? is it scraping the front plastic part or is it scraping against sth else? I'm just curious. happy holidays!
Trying to figure out what Switch game I should buy myself (Gris I think) and was reminded my dock (before I got a microfiber cover) gave all sorts of great scratches to remember it by.
So was that ever solved? Best I can tell @NintendoAmerica said it wasn’t a thing. the end?pic.twitter.com/5YL0RKx0rA

The inside of the dock just hitting the screen as you set it in I suppose. I always carefully placed it in but even being careful resulted in hairline scratches. Mostly on the right side for me.

I noticed this on my original switch, then I got the pikachu and eevee edition and it is much looser in that dock. They must have fixed it in the later models

My daughter got a switch day one and thankfully I put a cover on it before she ever docked it. Because she got a giant scratch the first time she docked it. We got one for my son today and the dock seems better
