It’s my thought. Netflix has to cancel it’s current contracts. Disney then picks up and does their own thing with it. I’m not worried. It’s an amazing series so no chance they are canceling it all.
A Disney service with Punisher torture porn would be surprising, though. Curious to see how they handle their content.

If you look throughout their history, Disney owns really really weird rights to movies. Lol.

For sure but it’s usually hidden behind other labels. Having a big Disney tag on it changes things I think? Maybe. More than likely the service will have some other name that adds a layer of protection.
