Well I sat down to try Fallout 76 before bed and after 3.5 hours realized it was 2am. I’m digging it so far, at least for the early progression. But I can see playing with a group would be much better.

If you like the general exploration stuff from past games, you'll probably continue enjoying it. Having lots of fun finding small story pieces and tracing them around. Shockingly I don't miss human NPCs that much.

Just want to add, it feels like AI has been improved in some senses and that some enemies may quietly stalk you and wait until you're vulnerable before attacking. Couldn't figure out why I was going Hidden -> Caution repeatedly on an empty path, found some wolves thinking...

they were the reason, but once I started combat with them I got turned around and behind me there was a Deathclaw that had apparently been following me for about 5 min and when it was about to jump in and attack me, it was attacked by 2 Yao Guai's. Just insanity.
