As I remember it, the original xboxe one was supposed to be disk free but the fan backlash caused them to reconsider. I wonder what made them change their mind
People finally catching up to being ok with always online/digital platforms, I’m sure. As well as a desire to create cheaper box. Guess they’re going for three tiers.

Which makes more sense. The main issue I had with diskless is that it destroys the after market. One of the only benefits of console over pc is the ability to rent and trade games. But as a choice I have zero issue with it
