I'd rather have pre-judging and have the actual competitive costumes with time dedicated to those costumes in the main contest, and a separate showcase for the other cosplays that didn't make it. :(
Yeah I wasn’t aware of the stage show before with all of them. I think that’s a cool solution and assume works for most everyone. I approve. 
Hahaha, yeah, I've just stood through way too many 60-100 person costume contests, and it's not fun for anyone, especially those at the beginning and at the end!
