Loving RDR2 so much. I don’t ever want to stop playing. Aside from some of the bugs I think my only complaint is some of the cutscenes are lit too completely. Probably to account for the variable time of day they can occur, but I wish they had a variable solution vs. full bright.

I'm liking it. Only about 1 hour in. My only complaint so far is the controls. Friend told me today to swap to fps controls. Gonna do that when I get home and see if that helps.
Playing in first person is definitely different. What specifically about the controls are you having problems with?

Probably just need to play more to get used to it but tapping x to run isnt my favorite. I could not shoot a damn wolf from horseback but I'm a dead eye dick killing dudes. I got shot twice trying to take cover near a window. And holding triangle for a sec to loot is lame.

There’s an option to toggle run, try that. Check your aim lock settings while you’re at it. This isn’t a strict cover and fire game. Just be behind something. IMO the “confirmation delay” for looting makes sense considering looting can have dire consequences.
