How does Spotify not have Tool

From what I’ve read, which isn’t much, they don’t license to ad hoc streaming because the albums are meant to be listened to as they are. No greatest hits or genre playlists. I guess I get it. People are going to do whatever they want with files but you don’t have to agree to it.

I’m pretty sure you can do the same with Spotify can’t you?

They let you play local files, but no. Amazon used to support album uploads but they shut it down I guess. Google music upload still works afaik. Definitely still works for streaming what you’ve uploaded!
