More than random doodads. Entire portions of the map changed and are completely different. Plus, the rifts mean an easy escape and a way to re-propel yourself from the sky into a new area much more easily. ATKs also change travel *and* combat.

It might feel cosmetic, but it's going to change a lot of the strategy surrounding combat, especially in these first few weeks.
Oh ok. That sounds cooler then. They did not convey that in the announcement trailer or site.

Yeah, the trailer definitely could be more clear. Actually hopping into the game and playing with the new update felt great :)
