I don't follow Overwatch super closely, but the Symmetra rework (while looking awesome!) seems to signal that back-of-line support characters just don't work well? Is the game destined to rework everyone until they're all in the middle of every fight?

her current version allows her to be in the middle of fights with her tracking beam. But so much of her strength is tied to building a teleport or shield generator that she would hang back to build her ultimate but wasn't impactful enough before then.

and Widowmaker and Hanzo are 2 of the strongest characters in the game right now and obviously snipers don't want to be anywhere near the middle of the fight

For sure, I guess I mean... Symmetra to me was a character "weaving your doom", you might not even see her, but when you died you knew it was her. And it feels like the rework is saying that doesn't really work in this game. Which makes me a little sad.
