I'm enjoying Destiny 2 now that I'm 30 but the itemization system is pretty opaque. I'm never really sure what I should be keeping or not, using to feed other items, or just trashing. The end game content and gearing loop could be explained a lot better. Or at all.

Yeah I think that's the big issue, I have choice paralysis, fearing I'm going to make a bad decision and I don't have the information I need to make good decisions.

It’s gotten to the point I just wear the same armour to annoy certain people (Mark) and now he comes over and sorts all my guns for me

Yeah, some stuff is terribly communicated, like the 3 armour stats. The one that boosts "health" only boosts the last 1/4 or so of your total bar, as the rest is your shield and it's only a small % boost at that iirc. Why is this not explained in game!
