  12. I found a new job, similar to the one I left behind when moving. I wanted to do embedded but got pushed into Windows desktop. I started to like .NET, and later on moved to developing for the cloud. After more than five years in R&D (and metrology), I became a freelancer. (5/5)

  13. After graduation, we had our first child and decided to move closer to family and friends. I started working as an IT pro, and I hated every part of it. I was unhappy for leaving a great dev job behind. I started doing system integrations, but still did a lot of IT support. (4/5)

  15. I didn't however have any plans to continue studies at the university. I instead worked a couple of years as a service technician at a Canon dealer, fixing multifunction laser copiers/printers. I loved my job and would probably still be doing it if it wasn't for love. (2/5)

  16. I studied electronics at vocational school. We did a small amount of programming, mostly in C and assembly. I also remember the EMMA II (), where you wrote HEX values directly to the EPROM using an integrated HEX keyboard. (1/5)
