I grew up outside Atlanta, in the shadow of Stone Mountain... a monolith memorializing the Confederacy & the birthplace of the KKK. The only thing that made living next to that mountain bearable was thinking times had changed. They have.. but not enough

Many in tech still see themselves through the lens of the bullied nerd archetype, but fail to realize that they now hold orders of magnitude more power over their former tormentors, than the bullies ever held over them. Power shifts, seasons change, adapt to your new role.

Bitcoin doesn't care about your race, gender, or creed. It doesn't care who you love. It doesn't care what do you for a living, or if you're politically unpopular, on the left or right. It defends your right to financial sovereignty.

Unfortunately, Bitcoin can't protect our other rights. We have to do that, for ourselves and for our neighbors. We must fight state-sanctioned violence, systemic racism, and every other mass abuse and infringement of human rights.

I got into crypto to protect individual liberties. We say Bitcoin is about sound money and censorship resistance, but what it really does is protect the rights of the minority.

I grew up in South Georgia. I was attacked by cops, peers, and even my teachers for my race. I'm a founder who got into crypto to empower people of all races and gender against establishments with far too much power.

We have the word "bullish" to describe the price of bitcoin increasing. What word do we have to describe Bitcoin becoming more peer-to-peer?

It would be a shame if protestors started calling the White House situation room at +1.202.456.9451 and told them how they felt. Ugh, what a tragedy.

The amount of crypto people I offer to pay in crypto who tell me they "have no way to cash out their crypto to pay bills with" is staggering. If people in the space can't easily cross the fiat/crypto divide then we are no where near mainstream adoption.

Confused. This is like a well known and highly respected scientist who is also somehow religious and manages to keep both world views alive in his head simultaneously.
