    Pottery () is an attempt to make it easy leave information for future developers that can be used for archaeology of the system: to understand how it has changed and is changing, and what are the non-technical causes. Hence the pottery shards metaphor 😀

    Now that the dev summit notes are out (), it's official: we want to offer built-in TLS and auth in our own HTTP endpoints, as well as implement subqueries (e.g. max_over_time(rate(foo[5m])[1h:1m]))

    Sitting in the post- dev summit now and it seems like the team is deciding to 👍 a lot of highly-requested features that we had previously firmly said "no" to - don't want to go into specifics yet because things are still in flux, but stay tuned :)
