The 1st of the month is stressful for many. Today, the usual stress of rent is compounded by increasing health, home, and job insecurity. When many Americans cannot afford a $400 emergency expense, we need a rent freeze now.

We also need income replacement for individuals and some businesses. Our government can "find", in 2008, $29 trillion to bail out BANKS & the1%, no tax dollars were needed (see $29 B Bailout, Bard College). It can "find" $15 TRILLION now for the 99%.
