yes! voters shouldn’t be instructed by the establishment who they should and shouldn’t vote for - it actually gives us less choice and less voice! if candidates clearly communicating their message, they’ll be able to earn votes!

I think it was because the redistricting ended up having multiple folks with local Dem Party office experience in the primary (Mary Jo Kilroy, Ted Celeste, and Joyce, off the top of my head) - too conflicted to make a call and no incumbent because it was a new district
This is an act of voter suppression and rigging elections this practice must cease. Let the voters actually decide who they want to represent them in office.
