But if the @FCDems & @ohdems do what is both undemocratic and unprecedented and put out literature endorsing only one Democratic candidate, many voters will not be given a real choice.

That is why today I’ve submitted a formal request to @FCDems &@ohdems to follow precedent & uphold our democracy by not endorsing in the#OH3 Democratic Congressional primary in 2020. Sign our petition to ensure a fair election.Show this thread

yes! voters shouldn’t be instructed by the establishment who they should and shouldn’t vote for - it actually gives us less choice and less voice! if candidates clearly communicating their message, they’ll be able to earn votes!

New to Columbus, but what were the circumstances in 2012 that the County Dems didn’t endorse? Just curious. Thanks!

I think it was because the redistricting ended up having multiple folks with local Dem Party office experience in the primary (Mary Jo Kilroy, Ted Celeste, and Joyce, off the top of my head) - too conflicted to make a call and no incumbent because it was a new district

This is an act of voter suppression and rigging elections this practice must cease. Let the voters actually decide who they want to represent them in office.
