    Had to wait in line last week for the first time over several tests since June. Probably some mix of surge and Thanksgiving. But free walk-up New Orleans site run by LCMC much better than reports from other states. In and out in 20 minutes, PCR results in 23 hours.

    "I became the district attorney and the family asked me to send that case to federal court. I wrote a letter to our U.S. attorney," Landrum says. "In no way did I fail to bring that case to prosecution. That case was already brought and it was quashed, so he’s lying."

    Lots of back-and-forth on the Danziger Bridge case. The state prosecution was already foundering by the time Keva Landrum became interim DA in 2007, but Williams faults her for "punting" the case to the feds.

    Williams says Landrum is nothing more than a "surrogate" for Leon Cannizzaro, She says "he was the one who in fact supported Leon Cannizzaro in his campaign to be district attorney. Not me."
