  4. Every time your CTO mentions performance reviews the best thing to do is spray them directly in the face with a spray bottle filled with room temp water. This may startle them, but it does not hurt them and will curb the behavior.

  19. I’ve never really done the thing. But, I’ve lived and worked in 🇦🇹 Austria 🇬🇧 UK 🇳🇱 Netherlands 🇨🇦 Canada 🇺🇸 USA 🇩🇪 Germany. Now with kids, moving is not that straightforward anymore. But, we work remote from great places several times per year. 🌴

  21. Dear managers, if your reports tell you the workload is too high, deadlines are unrealistic, and that they have to juggle too many balls, then they aren't telling you they want yet another task, responsibility, project. Don't try to squeeze the most out of people.
