    Someday I’d like to actually have enough time or resources to make a better GUI for the mGBA ports. Even something as simple as this would be a lot better. The coding part wouldn’t even be that hard. I just need to find the time to do it.

    If you're worried about mGBA builds being malware, it's always possible (although on Windows quite difficult) to compile it yourself.

    I've been getting reports of Avast/AVG reporting mGBA 0.6.0 and the dev builds as malware. No other antimalware software corroborates.

    While trusty is still officially supported, it ships with old versions of some of the dependencies that makes maintenance difficult.
