I am. It doesn’t seem to be working. I wonder if that works for legacy accounts? If I record a screencast and share with you are you able to see it?

Yes, it should work for Legacy accounts – you can send us a screencast if you're still having issues. Once you've moved your Legacy account to a Brand account, you can change ownership to your new Gmail account using these steps: https://yt.be/help/rYkq Keep us posted!

Based off https://support.google.com/youtube/forum/AAAAiuErobUP4mpqebZXlo … it seems like I could retain the http://youtube.com/mgallizzi URL. Can you confirm this and/or it works w/legacy accounts? Not sure if you're able to check my specific account but that would be great. I'm trying to get as much certainty as possible.

Yes, once you move your channel to a Brand Account the "user/channelname" will stay wil your channel. Let us know if you have other questions!

Thank you, and to be extra sure, specifically http://youtube.com/mgallizzi will "stay" with the channel after I convert it from a personal account (likely on legacy) to a Brand Channel, correct? I believe /mgallizzi is a redirect to /user/mgallizzi but want to be sure - thank you.

Great. And in order to move from a personal account to a branded channel, I believe I first have to *create the channel* and then override the channel with my personal account? Is that correct? Thank you.

As long as you follow the process in the article we've provided earlier, you'll be good to go. Hope you get this resolved!

Can someone watch this screencast and say "yes, you're correct, create a new channel under your old account, move old personal legacy to brand channel, then move brand channel to new account" - that'd be great.
