I’ve decided to stop watching “final season” on any shows going forward. Mad Men. Dexter. Thrones. All full of disappointment.

Cersei was supposed to be the baddest and died crying in the arms of a man. Brienne was supposed to be the baddest and was last seen crying in her nightgown barefoot, because of that same man.

So we made Brienne and her virginity a cheap plot point to prove that Jamie is in fact terrible. Lol. Jamie is a teenage boy.

Jamie has 2 stab wounds and manages to walk from the shoreline back through the crumbling city and rubble to find Cersei. K.

So much of this episode was wasted by idle city burning and building structure falling. We could’ve done without a lot of this filler since final episode real estate is scarce.

So the entire city is burned to the grown, everything in sight is charred, and lo, a LITERAL white horse for Arya to ride.

And brands that are really about that life will tell you to put your disclosure at the START of your post, before the post copy. This is why you can’t have everybody running your social accounts and why you can’t partner with everybody. Some folks don’t know or are cavalier.

More experienced campaign strategists know this and will INSIST on compliance from influencers. “Hi, thanks so much for posting. I noticed that you didn’t include your disclosure. Can you please go back and update your post?”

This is also true of celebrities! Any time you get paid for an endorsement or review, you gotta disclose, folks!

When brands/influencers fail to use proper disclosure tags, the law will make the case that there was an attempt to mislead the public......

The feds make bloggers and influencers disclose with these tags so that it’s clear to consumers that these are paid endorsements and not ordinary casual reviews.

Influencer Campaign 101: DISCLOSURES. Federal law says you must indicate when you have a paid relationship with a company/entity/brand by using EITHER #ad or #sponsor. Dassit. No abbreviations. No campaign tags.

There are a lot of major companies and influencers who have gotten caught up in v messy law suits and whatever because the FTC felt that folks were misleading the public by not properly indicating they were paid for their posts.

Partner tags. Owned tags implying a relationship. Are not the same as FTC #ad tags. Don’t get caught slipping and get fined.

Every person with one of these tweets is black and verified with a lot of followers and I don’t want anyone to get fined by the FTC.

I’m seeing a lot of tweets with the tag “HBOPartner.” Are these sponsored tweets? The social strategist in me is screaming for a hashtag-ad.
