A deadly weapon is off the streets thanks to the keen nose of police dog Eddie. Following an intelligence led operation, Eddie was called in and within 15 minutes, he located a concealed weapon. Well done Eddie! 🐶

Yesterday, two officers from were attacked whilst assisting someone in need of help. Officers should be able to go about their work, protecting the public, without fear of abuse or attack. Two men have been arrested. Being assaulted is not 'part of the job'

Body Worn Video released to show the severity of the assault two men launched on officers which resulted in a female officer being fly-kicked in the head. As she fell to the ground, she narrowly missed being hit by an oncoming double decker bus. Both men were jailed this week.

Police have made five arrests during the gathering that took place outside the US Embassy earlier today. Three arrests were for breaches of COVID legislation and two were for assault on police. Those arrested are aged between 17–25years. All have been taken into police custody.
