Entry level positions at financial institutions, banks, insurance companies. Send a lot of applications. Move to Midland and not use your degree in the oil industry. Probably your most immediately lucrative option. I can around my work for entry level / intern stuff.

if i had to guess, finding a place to live in that area might be a bit difficult, but idk. the thing about degree requiring positions is that they don't have to actually be in/near the oil fields, except for some engineers probably. i imagine those mostly aren't in midland.

even non oil jobs in the midland / odessa area tend to pay a lot, because employers have to compete with the oil fields. so the jobs that don't have to be there probably aren't. but that also means you can do pretty well for yourself there even just working at a restaurant or w/e
