Today, my office filed homicide charges against the former officer who shot and killed Keita O’Neil, an unarmed, Black man in 2017. As far as we are aware, this is the first time in San Francisco history that an officer has been prosecuted for homicide.

No. Because: 1) everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and he was never in a court because 2) the cop murdered him. Even if he was guilty it wouldn't change whether the cop is guilty. Killing criminals is still murder, and he wasn't even a criminal.
