JBP is going to make things worse. He's addressing a symptom. This will make folk think it works, that the symptom is the disease. This will let the disease progress even further.

That's my current research project. But, proximately, democracy.
-
The problem is democracy has happened before, and will likely happen again, which suggests democracy itself is a symptom of something else. That said, destroying democracy would buy enough time to figure out what causes it. Destroying SJWs won't.

I'm struggling to articulate my thoughts on this, but agricultural success allows for specialization, and some people specialize in human herding, which will become democracy if not checked by external forces.
-
There's a sub-section on it in here. http://alrenous.blogspot.com/2017/03/long-yet-still-very-short-history-of.html … ctrl-f 'shaman'

That's pretty close to what I've been using, though I'd combined merchants and priests as "PvP with words" class, farmers and herders as "PvE" class.

Sure. But merchants don't go for democracy so much. Merchant princes prefer to show off their wealth, not have it stolen.
-
I'll have to think on that. Many of our merchants seem pretty amenable to democracy, at least openly. My working thesis is that the categories overlap some, or that some merchants are more religious than others.

Rock paper scissors. Warrior scholar merchant. Jock beats up nerd who fools skid who scams jock. When merchant tries to scam scholar, he looks it up and isn't fooled. When nerd tries to fool jock, they don't get it. When warrior tries to beat up merchant they get paid off.
