The speed with which Meta went from accelerationist to conservative to neoconservative is breathtaking. https://twitter.com/meta_nomad/status/953352579366432768 …

"Taking the western values to them" is the basic program of neo-conservatism.
-
Ah ok. Well, that idea on its own would be reductionist to say the least. But there why does one need to go to the point of origin to take the positives from it?
-
I don't think it relies on too much reductionism. I'm sure New America Century has a white paper on how democratizing a foreign country will reduce their number of immigrants coming to the US.

Great question. I think the question of how to tie accelerationism into more day to day stuff is left largely unanswered. Almost any other belief seems to theoretically nullify any claim to being an accelerationist.
-
Surely one can support the contemporary political position which they believe will "accelerate the process" e.g. many Trump voters.
-
I would call into question the idea that such people actually exist anywhere other than real unreality (outside Thiel and I am probably being too generous). The only position which accelerates anything is withdrawal.
-
I agree with this. Don't vote.
