1. Recently watched the @ContraPoints video on Degeneracy. Primary focus of the video aside, Contra has a *very* short section on Nietzsche. Who according to Contra is a "dead German asshole" and "every edgy 19 year old's favourite philosopher."

6. Yes, edgy 19 year olds * have * taken Nietzsche for their own in the mainstream, yet external to the misreadings of ‘God is dead’, ‘The Blond Beast’ and ‘The Master Race’ is sublime philosophy that moves away from schematic truths and multiple historic notions of ‘truth’.

8. In short, it’s a shame Nietzsche has the image of an ‘edgelord’ but Contra only extrapolating to the fact that he’s been taken by ‘edgelords’ is a shame. Especially from someone who’s known to have a background in philosophy.
