This idea that 'self-care' and self-improvement is Capitalist propaganda is not a view I agree with but: If so, when _do/will_ leftists begin to take responsibility of themselves, what external environment is needed for them to accept some (most) self-faults are their own?

Seems to me you are simply asking them to adopt your particular model of agency. Sophisticated leftists might just say they want us to seek co-responsibility in a world where no entity is an island. Care of self and care of other may just be co-extensive.

What is love? And what is your economy of love predicated on? And, if we are to heed the messages of wisdom traditions, isn’t the ego also an obstacle to authentic care for that which is outside us?

I'd argue that what you're doing right now is in-keeping with leftist deconstruction. You know the ways you can love and care for yourself, questioning the means is avoidance.

Nah. Loving oneself could mean working yer ass off to break free from individualism, and narcissism. That’s why I asked. You seem to think ramping up individualism is the royal road to self-optimization, whereas other (non-capitalist) cultures have variant models.
