This idea that 'self-care' and self-improvement is Capitalist propaganda is not a view I agree with but: If so, when _do/will_ leftists begin to take responsibility of themselves, what external environment is needed for them to accept some (most) self-faults are their own?
'Improvement' implies something can become better than it previously was, which implies an objective hierarchy. Lefties no like this

Well seems it was partially confabulation on my part, the story wasn't about leftists dying young but about poor people dying young. http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/05/poor-people-often-dont-survive-to-become-seniors-who-vote.html … Still, my point still applies I think, no use having radical ideas if you're gonna die young due to poverty.
