- the former U/Acc take unconditionality with regards to acceleration as a priori, and thus do not adhere to the notion of free will wrt humans (or the universe), as such that which happens...happens, what will be will be. Personal opinion: Does this not make U/Acc nihilism?

As for the latter R/Acc "it is an attempt to sustain the conditions that precipitate technocapital singularity, in order to build something that outlasts humanity".

The subjective contention is from the fact that 'Unconditionality', that which is sans hierarchy is inherently left and as such leftists gravitate towards its Telos as their Utopian-becoming.

The inverse is true for R/Acc's 'Conditionality', that reactionaries and rightists tend to gravitate towards that which they can control and authorize. R begets Rx U begets L.

I think accelerationists reject free will across the board. Land is clear about this. There is no singular “willing” subject at the end of the day; free will is a false but useful assumption that simplifies communication.

> I think accelerationists reject free will across the board. One could put forth that it doesn't matter either way, we're not going to solve the problem of free will. So let's attend to our own camp's guidance.

‘There is no singular “willing” subject’ is the key here I think.
-
Multiple wills taking 'different' willed routes converging on acceleration. U would immanentize all routes into the process, as it is the process. And R would allow for each singular will to be its own 'helmsman' (see Serres).
-
I want to insist on r/acc not believing in “singular wills” in the final case. But maybe r/acc finds “singular wills” to be more useful as a lying abstraction; more emphasis on ““”praxis””” than “just let capital do its work and don’t interfere”
-
I think that’s a point L/R share and the U judgement of naivety comes from this trend towards consolidation being an open goal for the “forces” they say they’re opposed to. U/Acc is not wholly without praxis, but it’s on terms other to these.

So I is individualist? And I was preparing dinner for 20 mins and am now 3-4 threads behind, which have been doused with Reza, Hakker etc cannot keep up.
