Also "learning complex strategy" means pretty different things for human and AI, human players might also be using that "strategy" intuitively, while only the pros really recognize it and use it deliberately which is likely what Blitz means when he says it took him 8 years

Anyways I'm not sure either what's a good metric to compare human vs AI except for actual game performance. Energy expenditure might also be worth considering.
