yeah, I mean. if r/acc is simply capital escape, then it's really no different from u/acc, all wailing to the contrary. this is indeed what Land meant by u/acc back in 2014, as an opposition to l/acc. but that's not what we've seen on twitter since (at least) last year.

At least we got somewhere. The split is the age old question of humans having authority over their reality, free will. Henlo academy!
-
I think this is precisely it.
-
So in short, from uacc human action is tied to capital a priori?
-
I would say that humans have consistently over-estimated their level of conscious control. Almost to the point where we can formulate a definition of the human from this characteristic. "Human is the animal that believes itself to have a will"
-
The main argument, I guess in relation to capital. And it's not much of an argument, is that 'thus far' we've had -at least- a semblance of agency greater than other animals, which is ripe for questioning out motive in the universe.
-
I do think that capital can be derailed. But such an action, far from being emancipatory, would be catastrophic at the level of extinction.
-
You think capital can be derailed, ok, agreed. What, in your opinion, are the ways in which it can be derailed?
-
if it can be derailed (I'm not nearly as convinced of this as Max seems to be), it sure as hell can't be derailed by some apes doing some apeshit
