Watching 'Cargo', thus far the first film in a _long_ time to deal with zombies in a relatively interesting way. A singular Z, a pure virile monster of consumption, that which can only be escaped via the most extensive Exit, in this case, nomadic movement.

'Cargo' takes an interesting trajectory, wherein the difficulty is that of raising a child amongst the Z hellspawn, protecting them from the brain rot of consumption for its own sake.

Dawn of the Dead 28 Days Later World War Z (Not for genuine cinematic merit, but for furthering the virulence of consumption. Zombies literally piling up their own corpses just to consume. Lovely.)

World War Z was terrible, but I agree that hyper virulent/accelerated nature of the zeds was a nice touch. Like how in 28 Days it was pure rage (road rage, black friday roots riots, etc)
