-there's a position near the end of one of the videos where you're basically lying face down and relaxing/breathing after the semi-strenuous workout and I cannot get my feet into a position that doesn't make my hips feel weird (Cont)

ideas on what might be going on: -I am somewhat hyperflexible so maybe I'm overextending somewhere? esp with the knee thing -I walked pigeon-toed as a kid and basically had it Disciplined out of me (do not recommend this) -a dr recommended leg braces when I was a kiddo but...

...that didn't happen for some reason that I don't remember -parents had to pull me out of running-intensive sports as a kid bc I'd end up with excruciating pain in my ankles and hips

-Weird Knee Shit showed up in high school; squats have always been difficult. deep stances in karate, and squatting even without weight, produce a weird vibrate-y grinding noise/sensation on the insides of my knees just under the kneecap

no idea why this is all manifesting in the lower body I guess when I do run into "feels weird in a bad way" in my upper body I have a pretty good sense of which movement caused the weird feeling

I did have a minor lower back injury as a kid (maybe 7?) when I fell out of a tree (okay, I jumped because I didn't know how to get down) and was taken to a chiropractor, who I am fairly certain just reinjured me/exacerbated it (don't take your children to chiropractors!)

I have some knee issues especially with warrior poses or squats. Physical therapy helped me figure out how to even use the gluteus medius at all. Now a lot of those poses feel stable and don't hurt. I think physical therapists have knees figured out, highly recommend

Additionally I realized I'm always collapsing my arches, which turns my kneecaps inwards, which makes it hard to recruit my gluteus medius. Seriously wish someone explained this to me before dammit
