A crux for me is if the art production causes additional harm A: they're abusive specifically in making the art B: they're generically abusive across the board A makes me like the art less B makes me appreciate that their lame existence has at least provided one good thing

A song I liked by a 80s Berkeley punk band where the singer said he was called a rapist. I thought it was a metaphor for "the system", later I learned that not only was it true, but that the rape victim was a friend. The singer later murdered his GF. I can't listen to them now.
