Melancholia. Strict horror it's not, but I know nothing else to portray apocalyptic, existential dread & the ink-smoke depths of depression with such.. heart. It's hard to define. I feel there's a sublime component to all pain & this film evokes that beauty. See: Synecdoche, NY.
