I used to think this, but now I realize it can also indicate lack of self-awareness. It's not good to ignore pain. And when doing so is easy, it's tempting to do it too much.

I think this is confusing the desire to seem efficient ("strong people push through this") and being efficient.

Interesting! I tend to have efficient mental machinery and preserve a type of cognizance in extreme states, but it feels like I had that thing pre-mental-reorg, and more relates to a deeply rooted executive function survival part (strong root chakra, in a different ontology).

If we call efficiency one indicator, what might this second one be? I don't quite understand what executive function connection to root chakra is. Like, I get the gesture but don't know what it's made of.

by that account i'm a fucking traumatized wreck :( [and it's true given the unrealized potential ppl see in me]

Damn, I didn't intend a value judgment in the OP. I'd say I'm waaay more messed up by stress and lack of sleep than most people. Which isn't to say we're traumatized wrecks.

Don’t know that I agree with this. I think “efficient” may be the wrong word here. My mind in a flow state is insanely efficient. My mind when it’s over stressed or fatigued is affected by those and can be quite inefficient.

Fantastic. Often times it comes off as insensitive to people around you, it’s almost a stigma to not be affected haha
