Help @YouTube What if a video has open captions in which you don't upload a file? How can we make it show up as a captioned video in YouTube search?

Thanks for reaching out! You can manually create or provide captions for all of your videos. Here’s more info on captions: https://yt.be/help/V3X2

Doesn't answer question. I upload videos to YT with captions burned-in. (No SRT.) But if you search for it -- they won't show up with a CC. This video is open captioned. It will not show up as CC in YouTube Search. https://lnkd.in/ezW7vez This will:https://lnkd.in/ebwSPev

Thanks for the details, can you send a feedback report directly from YouTube with these steps: https://yt.be/help/feedback ? While every individual report may not get a direct response back, we do review everything and use the details to investigate and fix issues.

Feedback submitted. Here's a screenshot to explain. Two videos have a caption SRT file and show CC. Three do not because they're OPEN CAPTIONED. There is no SRT file involved but they're still captioned. They need to show up as CCpic.twitter.com/z0zpIAFf1F
