That’s chilling. If people want religion they can have religious classes to take if they chose. Remember
#SeperationOfChurchAndState -
that's not really written in our Constitution
-
It is actually. It is subject to understanding what else was written and said about it by the founders and the supreme court's interpretation. It is covered under the first amendment.https://www.allabouthistory.org/separation-of-church-and-state-in-the-constitution-faq.htm …
-
it may be implied but it is not written in our Constitution the 1st Amend protects us from a national religion and gives us religious freedom
-
SCOTUS supposedly interprets the wishes of the founders. But then you have the originalists who think we are still living in the 18th century, and those who understand the Constitution to be a living document that reflects current times. Therein is a huge problem. People evolve
-
That's what a libertarian would say
. The Koch Heads want to rewrite it and make less people friendly.
The only living part constitution is what is call
an
Amendment

Spend the weekend researching trying to understand what we are fighting. Ran across this on originalism vrs Federalism. https://scholarship.law.duke.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?referer=&httpsredir=1&article=1390&context=faculty_scholarship …
-
Don't confuse Federalism, "The Federalist Papers" venerated arguments of our founding fathers, and the Federalists quoted by frat boy Kavanaugh. His federalists are a right wing political movement recruits in law schools.
-
Understood thank you for pointing that out.
-
Some don't. And GOP deliberately chooses honorable names to Sully with their alt-right garbage orgs.
-
GOP tactic is to always pretend they're the good citizen. Truthfully GOP is a cesspool of big monied crooks boosting themselves into corporate, media and political positions. For decades they've used their white collar crime money to put billions towards furthering their trojans.
-
Too true. The Kochs organization is like a hydra headed monster with tentacles in every legislative body they could infiltrate. They are attacking institutions for the public good on every front all in the name of greed!pic.twitter.com/kj52weEbf6

Great descriptive! & great list. WE need to get this msg out to all citizens. What just happened in Wisconsin is a taste of what we can expect if we don't stop these bastards!

More Religious Terrorism threatening our country. The Evangelicals of this ilk aren’t much different than ISIS
-
There's no difference between ISIS and these radical Christian extremists. The movement (which is called the coup movement in other countries), is evident in many countries. In North America they radicalize Christians. Radio talk show hosts were obviously paid boosters of it.
-
I think you can take your analysis a step further--ALL religious extremists, from ALL religions are dangerous...the Middle East amplifies the voices of all of the various extremists
-
As I've said many times. They find the weak spot, they target it, they falsify its facts, smear it, exaggerate, amplify, all to widen the gap between between truth and lies, love and hate, building division through ignorance and intolerance.
