. Discriminating against teachers for the last 8 years, low pay meaning future teachers can never hope to own a house, and students understanding this so not applying to be teachers. Governments actions don’t support their expensively prepared spin

And what about the deplorable treatment of Teachers, the Misguided JC reform that has reduced the knowledge base for students, the lack of opportunity, minimal hour contracts for NQTs, you keep asking for more but give nothing, and where are are P60s by the way?

This country despises real education. The Irish Civil Service was rated one of the worst in the world in a recent survey. So, that reflects on its feeder school, the IPA a kip in Ballsbridge masqueradading as a university. There's positive discrimination in CS in favour of IPA!

All very well until the religious orders sell the schools and land out from under the noses of the department of education. Needs to be sorted out for strategic reasons.
-
St Paul's and Clonkeen are threatened. They talk about welfare of the students and physical exercise has to be part of it. Pitches are not assets to be sold off. They are not periphery to delivering world leading education. If your pitch is Z15 zoned you too have an asset.

@WrideMike Is their anything about supporting the development of creative thinking, lateral thinking, parallel thinking - for TEACHERS and students? Problem solving skills that will be invaluable in our uncertain future. Is there any space for autonomy or is the P.M.E. worthless? -
Yes! We must support students to work together across disciplinary boundaries in a transdisciplinariy approach for transcendent and creative emergent solutions to real world
#wickedproblems. Autonomy is a must - students must be motivated and self-regulate for 'supercomplexity'

Wellbeing as a goal? How is that possible with minimal outside space e.g
@ClonkeenPitches@ClonkeenSchool? Allowing Religious Orders profit from the sale of playing fields attached to schools funded by the Dept. of Education? -
Please add to the list St Paul's School, Raheny D5. The two schools are both under threat of developers and under the guardianship of their local TDs, the double act that is the Minister and Deputy Minister of Education! They have let us down.

There’s more that needs looking at than these goals! But I suppose one decade at a time! Hope for 2050!
